Navigating the Dashboard
Once added as a staff member in the HUB, each user will have access to a unique dashboard.
The dashboard is designed to provide users with quick links to access certain areas in the HUB.
Each of the Practice Index packages are located in the menu displayed on the left-hand side.
· Learning
This is an additional paid-for subscription that covers your online eLearning training and allows you to track which staff members have completed the training assigned to them.
· Policy Manager
This feature allows you to prepare and share your policies with staff members and then track who has or hasn’t read them.
· Compliance
This is an additional paid subscription. You can collate your evidence for the CQC using our CQC manager and you can also log, report and manage other items such as learning and significant events, alerts, complaints, compliments and criticisms. There are also sections where you can manage risks, audits and checks and create a log of issues.
· Finance
This is an additional paid subscription, but it is also where Benchmarking and the Salary Calculator are located which are both free to use. Benchmarking is where you can compare your practice’s financial performance against others, and the Salary Calculator is where you can calculate and compare the impact of salary changes.
· HR
This is an additional paid subscription. Holiday Manager is located within this subscription too.
· Rota
This is an additional paid-for subscription that pairs well with the Holiday Manager system in the HR Package. It will allow you to build and manage rotas for your practice.
The subscription packages being used determine the content that is displayed on a
Dashboard.
· Holiday Manager (HR Package)
If you are using Holiday Manager included in the HR Package subscription, your staff will see an ‘Available to book’ section.
This is where they can see an overview of their annual leave, along with a quick link button titled ‘Request Leave’. There is also a pie chart available for them to view.
Scrolling down the dashboard, they will also be able to see their upcoming leave listed along with any colleague's upcoming leave.
· Learning Package
If the Learning Package is in use, users will see the number of courses that they have completed and the hours spent on these courses. There is also a bar chart that compares the staff member’s progress against the practice average.
The next course due will be listed alongside a button to ‘Start Course’.
Scrolling down the dashboard will bring users to a ‘Your Courses’ section. This will display a few of the courses that they are assigned to complete along with the due date.
Each course listed can be clicked which will bring the user to the page where they can start the course, or users can press ‘See all courses’ to view a list of all assigned courses.
· Noticeboard
The dashboard will also display a noticeboard to users. HUB managers and Noticeboard managers can create and edit items so that they display on the dashboard for other users to view.
Users can click to view any pinned or displayed notices or click to ‘See all notices’.
- Items requiring your attention
This section on the dashboard will display anything your staff members have been assigned to look at or read such as policies or safety alerts.
· Onsite feature
We have a free On-site feature – you can track which of your staff members and visitors are on site via the onsite register.
· Useful links
On the right-hand side of the dashboard you will see a section containing a variety of useful links.
You can click into the ones displayed to be taken to that specific page or site, or you can click ‘See all links’ to view a list of all useful links.
· Compliance actions assigned to you
Within the Compliance package you can assign actions to staff members to complete.
If a staff member has been assigned an action they can view them on their dashboard along with the due date.
They can click into each one individually or click to “See all actions”.
· HR Alerts assigned to you
Staff members can view a section on the dashboard that will inform them what HR Alerts they are assigned to.
They can also click to ‘See all alerts’.
· Library item actions assigned to you
The Library feature is where you can store documents or links and create personalised pages.
You can set actions for staff members to complete which they can access on the dashboard.
They can click into the actions individually or see all actions by selecting the ‘See all actions’ option.
On the right-hand side of the dashboard you will also see the following:
- A ‘Did you know?’ section
- A ‘Quote of the week’ section
- A ‘Joke of the week’ section
- A ‘Data from the CQC’ section where you can insert your location ID to obtain the correct data.
